We take our responsibility to protect your privacy very seriously. We will never release your personal information to any third party company for their mailing or marketing purposes when you make a purchase on our website, or sign-up for our newsletters or any other marketing material.
Information we collect and how we use it
Customers & Website Visitors: we collect some information that is necessary to fulfill and dispatch your purchase and communicate with you about your order. We collect your first and last name, billing address, delivery address and email address. Our website also collects some anonymous information on your visit to help us improve our website and service. This includes, but is not limited to, page visits, time spent on page, your location, referral source, searched terms, and discount codes used.
Email Marketing Subscribers: if you choose to subscribe to our email marketing updates, we will collect your email address. You can also choose to provide your first name and last name, which will allow us to include your name in our emails to you. This information is used to send out interviews with experts, recipes and news regarding discounts or promotions. You can update your settings or unsubscribe from these at any time by using the unsubscribe links contained within our emails.
You may contact us at any time to request a copy of all data and information we hold on you as a customer. You may also contact us to amend or update your details at any time by emailing us on hello@wearejerms.com.
You have a right to be forgotten and as such we’re able to remove all of your personal information from our records. We can’t remove your orders, items purchased and values as we require these for historical accounting, but your personal affiliation with these orders will be anonymised and all of your personal information would no longer be held by us.
Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Third Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
